Babies

Edward in the Baby Room playingThe baby rooms are lovely, spacious and self-contained, with their own changing facilities and milk kitchens.

The babies enjoy a bright, stimulating environment, where our caring staff provide opportunities for them to explore colour, shape, texture and sound.

A wide range of activities including singing, stories, painting, walks and play times are used to develop their senses. Lots of cuddles and conversation is important too, so the babies develop early language.

Your baby's day will be structured using the 'Birth to Three Matters' framework. The purpose of the framework  is to provide support, information and guidance for the staff that are responsible for the care and education of the babies and toddlers. The framework identifies 4 aspects.

They are as follows:

  • A Strong Child
  • A Skilful Communicator
  • A Competent Learner
  • A Healthy Child
